Cousins and Friends

These photos were taken at a 40th Birthday party July 19, 2008. There were lots of kids. Here are a few that I edited and experimented with some photoshop filters. They were shot in RAW and converted to JPEG, then added details and effects, mostly paint and lighting. There are many more kids all gorgeous. Click on the photos to view larger photo details.

Cadillac Ranch

I had the pleasure of photographing and video taping the Kareoke singers last Wednesday night at the Cadillac Ranch in Southington. I thought they were fantastic and could give some of those American Idol contestants a run for their money. Check out their photos. I am an avid candid setting photographer catching people in their element and comfort zone. The best shots are unposed.

HDR portraits

Here are some portraits taken using exposure bracketing. This is 3 different exposures processed in high dynamic range and then tonemapped to enhance the shadows and highlights. I then added lighting effects using Photo shop. As I perfect this skill I will continue to add more portraits. the key is to be very still and have no change in motion when taking the 3 exposures. Best to use a tripod but with kids a TV will do. lol
